VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!
Your help as a volunteer at the Baptist CRISIS Center is absolutely vital to the life of our ministry. Thank you for being willing to give of your time, talents and energy to directly impact those in need! It is our joy to work with you. Our key areas of need are in the large clothing area, food distribution, front desk, and prayer team.

MINISTRIES:
There are four primary areas where volunteers are needed.
The following is a brief listing of the typical duties these areas might include.
Clothing Closet:
Volunteers in this department need to be able to:

Sort and size donations.

Stock and straighten shelves. Fold and hang clothing.

Help clients find suitable clothing.
Food Area:

Volunteers in this department need to be able to:
-
Lift up to 50 pounds.
-
Stock pantry items and refrigerated/frozen items.
-
Portion out items in bags appropriately per family size.
Front Desk:
Volunteers in this department need to be able to:

Greet and check in people - *DUE TO COVID, WE ARE TAKING EVERY PRECAUTION. MASKS ARE REQUIRED, AND ONLY 3 PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED INTO THE CENTER AT A TIME*.

Prayer Team:
The prayer team gathers for concentrated prayer focus for our clients' needs, lifestyles, finances, jobs, decisions, and salvation. Prayer is needed with the visitors to the center any time between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm.
